Volunteer at the BEST gig in town during BC Craft Beer Month!
Conference Location: Harbour Conference Centre, 760 Pacific Blvd
Afterparty Location: Maritime Labour Centre, 1880 Triumph St
Conference Event Hours: Oct 17 from 4pm – 10pm and Oct 18 from 8am – 6pm
After Party Event Hours: Oct 18 from 7pm – 12am
There will be a variety of roles available, those will be assigned once you have given your availability and number of shifts you would like to work. Roles include (but are not limited to): Greeters, Coat Check, Registration (ticket scanning, wrist-banding and guestlist), Bar Staff, Set up and Tear Down Crew.
Volunteers are invited to attend conference talks when not on shift, and all are invited to attend the After Party as guests unless you are signed up as part of the event crew that night.
All BC CBC Volunteers must be 19+ and Serving It Right (SIR) / Special Event Server (SES) certified unless you have certification from out of province. You can find out more information and get certified at servingitright.com.
